"Vallecula" comes from the Latin word valles, meaning "valley", and is in the diminutive form of the word, so a vallecula is literally a "little valley".(出自英文維基百科：vallecula 項目)。而中文的谿/xī/同“溪”字，指的是『山里的小河溝，泛指小河溝』。谷指的是『兩山間的夾道或流水道，或指兩山之間』(出自漢典)。以字義而言，「谷」似乎較恰當來形容解剖學上的《epiglottic vallecula》。Cua（User talk:Cuaxdon） 2018年8月12日 (日) 08:18 (UTC)[回复]
