German Township is one of the nine townships of Montgomery County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. As of the 2010 census the population was 8,429.[3]

Located in the southwestern corner of the county, 与以下镇区接壤：
- Jackson Township - 北
- Jefferson Township - 北east
- Miami Township - 东
- Franklin Township, Warren County - 东南
- Madison Township, Butler County - 南
- Gratis Township, Preble County - 西
- Lanier Township, Preble County - 北west corner
It is the only township in the county with a border on Butler County.
Two municipalities are located in German Township: the village of Germantown is located in the northeast, and a small part of the city of Carlisle, in the southeast.
Name and history[编辑]
It is one of five German Townships statewide.[4]
German Township was described in 1833 as having seven gristmills, nine saw mills, two fulling mills, five tanneries, and sixteen distilleries.[5]
政府[编辑]
镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行，并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行，另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[6]，与一名镇区理事选举同时举行，不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺，将由剩余理事填补。
