Hi, I (Mandavi) from the german Wikipedia am applying for Bot-status for Bot-Schafter.
The bot is already running on several wikipedias - here the contributions: english, german, swedish, czech, arabic, hebrew and danish.
The bot will add the 特色条目 star (
) into the interWiki as you should be able to see in the article 围棋. This will help to improve the articles since people with enough knowledge of foreign languages can translate from the approved content of the marked articles. The bot is running stable, has about 10.000 Edits and so far no single complaint. It is also correcting misspelled templates and moves them behind their interwikilink i.e. this or that one where the template is {{UA:xx}} on the Swedish WP.
The Bot is based on the pywikipedia framework and will run once every one or two month with a max. two edits per minute. Have a look at the user-page for more details and the source of the script.
