詹姆斯·希尔曼

詹姆斯·希尔曼（James Hillman，1926年4月12日—2011年10月27日），是一位美国荣格学派心理学家，原型心理学的创始者。

生平

出生于美国亚特兰大。第二次世界大战后先进入巴黎索邦大学取得英文文学研究学位，在此就学期间，深受法国伊斯兰学者考宾（Henry Corbin）、诗学哲学家巴修拉（Gaston Bachelard）和现象学学家莫里斯·梅洛-庞蒂的影响；再于都柏林的三一学院取得关于心智与道德科学的学位。

1953 年接受了梅尔（C. A. Meier）的分析，也同时加入了苏黎世荣格学院心的分析师训练学程。1959年从苏黎士大学博士毕业、也在荣格学院获得分析师资格，同时开始担任苏黎世荣格学院教学部主任直到1969年；希尔曼的博士论文《情感：理论及其治疗意义的综合现象学》(Emotions: A Comprehensive Phenomenology of Theories and The Meaning for Therapy)在他毕业后随即出版，在当时的出版界是罕见之事。在这十年间，经历了1961年荣格去世。

1967年受邀至艾拉诺斯(Eranos)论坛演讲，探讨关于“年老和年轻”（senex vs puer）原型对偶的主题。

1970年掌管春泉出版社(Spring Publications)的编辑及发行。
