2019年5月18日，厄莱兹登上大联盟。[1]他在初登场就敲出大联盟首安，[2]21日敲出大联盟首轰。[3]该年他的打击率为3成34，并在新人王票选拿下第六名。隔年他出赛32场比赛，打击率为3成21，并带有13分打点。
