布里斯托是西南英格兰最大的城市，建筑风格走折衷主义，融入了自中世纪至二十世纪的粗犷主义、以及往后各种建筑风貌。十九世纪中期，它发展出了独特的布里斯托拜占庭建筑，现今仍留存于城市内。
