彼得·沙洛維（Peter Salovey，1958年2月21日—），美國社會心理學家、現任耶魯大學校長。他曾擔任耶魯大學教務長、耶魯大學藝術與科學研究生院院長、耶魯大學學院院長。沙洛維是情緒商數理論的先驅之一。

早年生活[編輯]

1958年，沙洛維出生於馬薩諸塞州劍橋。 [1]他是註冊護士伊萊恩·沙洛維 (Elaine Salovey) 和南加州大學物理化學家兼化學工程和材料科學教授羅納德·沙洛維 (Ronald Salovey) 的長子。 [2] [3]

沙洛維最大貢獻為情商領域。他與約翰·D·梅爾 (John D. Mayer)發展了該領域，並撰寫了幾篇該領域的開創性論文。他認為人們在情緒控制、推理和感知方面都具有廣泛的認知。 [7]沙洛維和梅爾反對將情感商數視為智力商數的對立，認為情感在正確引導下都有一定的成果。[8][9]隨後，他致力發展情商模型和測試，如Mayer-Salovey-Caruso 情商測試。沙洛維的第二個研究領域是健康心理學，他把社會心理學原理融入健康範疇，由此促進降低艾滋病毒感染風險、早期癌症檢測和戒煙。沙洛維共撰寫及編輯了 13 本書、被翻譯成 11 種語言，並發表了 350 多篇期刊文章和論文。

沙洛維在耶魯大學任職教授時，當中有十年擔任不同的行政職務。2003 年 1 月他成為藝術與科學研究生院院長。次年，他接替理查德·布羅德海德擔任耶魯學院院長。 2008年10月，他接替安德魯·漢密爾頓擔任耶魯大學教務長。 [10]任職教務長時，沙洛維因經濟大衰退以致預算削減。但他還是推動了耶魯大學西校區的擴建、耶魯-新加坡國大學院的成立、進行了藝術與科學學院終身聘任政策的改革，並徹底改革了性侵投訴程序。 [11] [12] [13] [14] [15]

2012年8月，當理查德·萊文退休前四年，就已傳出沙洛維會接替耶魯大學校長一職。[16]在競選中，沙洛維更成為大熱。2012 年 11 月，耶魯大學正式宣布沙洛維為第 23 任校長。[17] [18] [19]2013年7月1日正式上任。 [20]

榮譽[編輯]

為了表彰他的研究貢獻，沙洛維獲得了美國國家科學基金會總統青年研究員獎、美國國家癌症研究所CIS 研究合作夥伴獎以及藥物濫用和心理健康服務管理局卓越獎。美國心理學會健康心理學分部（第38分部）授予他高級專業獎，以表彰他對健康心理學的傑出貢獻。他在耶魯大學獲得了兩項卓越教學獎：William Clyde DeVane 獎章和 Lex Hixon '63 社會科學卓越教學獎。其他榮譽包括比勒陀利亞大學、上海交通大學、哈佛大學、麥吉爾大學、國立清華大學、海法大學和維陶塔斯馬格努斯大學所頒授的榮譽學位，以及美國國家醫學院和美國科學院院士和美國文理科學院院士。 [24][25][26]
