湯姆塔
湯姆塔（Tom Tower）是英國牛津的一個鐘樓，以塔內的大湯姆鍾命名。它位於牛津大學基督堂學院的主入口，在St Aldate's街上的湯姆門上方，通往湯姆方庭。湯姆塔是由克里斯多佛·雷恩設計，建於1681至1682年，後期哥特式風格[1] — 一種已經有一百五十年未被重要建築採用的風格，使湯姆塔成為18世紀中葉哥特復興運動孤獨的先驅[2]。
大湯姆[編輯]
塔內的大湯姆，是牛津大學聲音最響亮的鐘。它的重量為6.25噸[3]。大湯姆最初叫「瑪麗」，懸掛在12世紀的Osney修道院，1545年解散修道院時遷移到聖Frideswide教堂，後在某時它被命名為「湯姆」[4]。
