腸胃蠅（學名：Gasterophilus intestinalis），也稱馬蠅（英語：Horse bot fly），[2][3]是膚蠅科的一種昆蟲，[4]在世界範圍內都有發現。[5]具有大黃蜂外觀的成蟲在夏季非常活躍。主要是馬、騾和驢的寄生蟲。
生命周期[編輯]
雌腸胃蠅將其每個卵的個體粘在馬、騾和驢的前肢和肩部的毛髮上。[6][7]每隻雌性最多產下 1000 個卵。[6]為了孵化，卵必須被宿主動物舔舐。[7]如果宿主在梳理毛髮的過程中被帶入口中，卵會在宿主口中孵化。[7]否則，第一齡幼蟲會遷移到宿主口中。[7]幼蟲在舌組織中發育，[5]在距離表皮 1.5 毫米以內的隧道中發育。[8]第二齡幼蟲被吞食並進入宿主的胃，並附着在胃的非腺體區域。[9]在成熟為第三齡幼蟲之前，幼蟲在胃中停留8至10個月。[5][7] 春季，第三齡幼蟲隨糞便排出宿主。[5]化蛹在土壤中持續 3-5 周，直到成蟲出現。[7]成蟲在夏季只活躍幾周，[10]並且缺乏功能性口器，只能活很短的時間。[7]
對宿主的影響[編輯]
臨床症狀在宿主動物中並不常見。[5]宿主胃中有大量腸胃蠅幼蟲寄生時會導致胃部疼痛，[5]在極少情況下，非常大數量的幼蟲可能會導致從胃到十二指腸的流出物阻塞。[8]腸胃蠅幼蟲通常是在內窺鏡檢查宿主的胃時偶然發現的。[5]宿生被腸胃蠅寄生的唯一跡象是在宿主的糞便中發現幼蟲。[10]對宿主的主要影響是腸胃蠅成蟲在試圖產卵時反覆落在腿上時造成滋擾。[10]
