西拉語(也稱西達語^[3])是一種在老撾和越南由約2,000人使用的彝語(Bradley 1997)。西拉族在越南被承認為一個單獨的民族。

分布[編輯]

據Edmondson(2002)，越南約有700名西拉族人生活在下列3個村莊。

據老年西拉人，7個西拉家族在175年前從老撾豐沙里省芒塢和芒葉遷來。他們最初抵達一處叫芒松的地方，到現居地前又經歷了數次搬遷。
