內河重炮艦
內河重炮艦（英語：River monitor），是一種在內河活動的最大類別的戰艦，安裝最重可能的火炮。英文名稱源自美國南北戰爭期間聯邦海軍（北軍）旗下的莫尼特號（USS Monitor）。
美國[編輯]
越戰時，由於內河作戰的需要，美國重新啟動自南北戰爭結束後就未曾再建置過的褐水海軍（Brown-water navy）船隊，導入至少24艘搭載迫擊砲或火焰噴射器的重砲艦參與在越南的戰事，也成為此類型的軍艦最近期的服役記錄[1]。1966年7月，國防部長羅伯特·麥克納馬拉批准組建機動江河部隊。[2]一般有重裝甲單炮塔的江河重炮艦。轄4個江河突擊總隊（River Assault Divisions, RAD）：
- 第91江河突擊總隊：3艘內河重炮艦
- 第92江河突擊總隊：2艘內河重炮艦
- 第111江河突擊總隊：3艘內河重炮艦
- 第112江河突擊總隊：2艘內河重炮艦

亞洲[編輯]
阿穆爾河區艦隊從1907年開始使用Taifun級內河重炮艦。1918年都被日本軍隊俘獲。[5][6]排水量1000噸，裝備130 mm艦炮。二戰蘇聯海軍使用斯維爾德洛夫級。[7]
歐洲[編輯]
第一次世界大戰時，奧匈帝國與羅馬尼亞王國在多瑙河上都部署了內河重炮艦。
