2019年1月27日上午，兩顆炸彈在菲律賓霍洛天主教加爾默耳山聖母主教座堂（英語：Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cathedral, Jolo）爆炸，造成18至20人死亡，82至111人受傷。[1][5][6]

爆炸在邦薩摩洛自治區的公投（英語：2019 Bangsamoro Autonomous Region creation plebiscite）一周之後發生。該區域向來是恐怖組織伊斯蘭國的附屬組織——阿布沙耶夫的一個據點。[7]爆炸發生地霍洛位於邦薩摩洛自治區的蘇祿省，而該省是在此次公投中唯一一個投了反對票的地區（54.3%對45.7%）。[8]
