《海綿寶寶：脫水大冒險》（英語：The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water），是一部於2015年上映的3D真人動畫電影，這部電影採用真人與動畫來共同演出，並由派拉蒙電影公司發行。

台灣上映日期定於2015年1月30日上映，發行商由派拉蒙影視公司發行，此次真人版導演由保羅·提比（英語：Paul Tibbitt）與麥克·米契共同執導。

這次海綿寶寶、派大星、章魚哥、蟹老闆、皮老闆將離開海底的比奇堡家園，為了奪回被偷走的美味蟹堡祖傳秘方，他們來到陸地上，化身為超級英雄展開一場大作戰。

2004年《海綿寶寶曆險記》問世後，監製朱莉亞·皮斯特（Julia Pistor）說拍續集不太可能了，儘管影片的票房表現不俗[1]。2009年接受《數碼間諜》採訪時，《海綿寶寶》的編劇兼執行監製保羅·提比被問到續集的可能性[2]，他說：「我認為他們已經在探討這件事了，但我還沒有簽下任何合約。感覺我們已經降了太多的故事，《海綿寶寶》以這種11分鐘的短片形式呈現非常好[2]。」他進一步表示，再做一部電影是「巨大的挑戰」[2]。然而，提比否認續集不可能出現，表示：「我沒有說過不會，但我不知道這會不會成為又一部作品[2]。」2010年，尼克國際兒童頻道據稱已接觸節目原創，商討創作又一部改編電影的事宜[3]。電視台一直希望和派拉蒙影業合作，發行另一部《海綿寶寶》電影，讓連續劇從不斷下降的收視率中重振雄風[4]。然而，內部分歧推遲了合作[3][4]。

2011年3月4日，《洛杉磯時報》撰文率先報道派拉蒙「另一部《海綿寶寶》電影」在開發中[5]。幾個月後的7月份，派拉蒙組建旗下全新的動畫部門派拉蒙動畫（英語：Paramount Animation），緊隨2011年計算機動畫《馬拉高》票房和口碑雙豐收之後，而後來在2012年，夢工場動畫公司和派拉蒙的發行合約高滿，夢工場結束合作[6]。派拉蒙總裁兼行政總裁菲利普·道曼（英語：Philippe Dauman）和尼克國際兒童頻道母公司維亞康姆於2012年2月28日正式宣佈續集在開發中，定於2014年上映，表示「我們會在2014年末發行《海綿寶寶》大電影」[7][8][9]。道曼補充道，影片「會啟動或納入我們開啟新動畫嘗試的電影作品」[7]。尼克國際兒童頻道希望影片的海外票房超越2004年作品，便不斷增加全球上映範圍[4][10]。他表示：「這會繼續推動《海綿寶寶》步向國際化」[4]。

2014年6月10日，製作宣佈開始，製作名稱定為《海綿寶寶曆險記2》（The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie 2）[11][12]，而部分行業出版物稱本片為《海綿寶寶2》（SpongeBob SquarePants 2）。影片執行監製由連續劇作者史蒂芬·海倫伯格擔任。2004年《海綿寶寶曆險記》上映後，他辭任了節目的節目製作人（英語：showrunner）。他不再參與節目的日常創作或播映工作，但會評價每一集並提出建議[13][14]。然而，2012年接受托馬斯·弗朗西斯·威爾遜採訪時，海倫伯格聲稱他協助影片的製作[15]。2013年年末，提比在Twitter上透露「史蒂芬（海倫伯格）和我一同寫新電影的劇本，他每天都到片廠和我們工作[16]。」影片將於2014年11月煞科[17]。影片製作收官後，海倫伯格重新擔任節目的執行製作人，如今有更多的創意投入，頻繁參與劇組會議[18][19]。

系列和2004年前作的經典角色悉數回歸。2013年8月，Marty Siu Casting的選角導演開始為真人動畫場景的臨時演員舉行選角面試[20][21]。2013年9月21日，據報西班牙演員安東尼奧·班達拉斯為選為真人角色海盜阿成的演員[22][23][24]。

動畫[編輯]

影片的動畫由韓國的草圖韓國（英語：Rough Draft Korea）負責[25]。創意總監文森特·沃勒（Vincent Waller）表示：「我們正讓動畫變得了不起」[26]。續集和前作一樣，融合傳統動畫和真人動畫[27][28]，同時採用由澳大利亞墨爾本的Iloura VFX處理的計算機生成動畫[29][30]。此前曾在《海綿寶寶曆險記》中擔任角色設計和首席故事分鏡師（英語：Storyboard artist）的薛爾曼·科恩（英語：Sherm Choen）在續集中回歸，2005年，他曾離開節目[31]。連續劇作畫監督湯姆·安美（英語：Tom Yasumi）和阿蘭·斯馬特（英語：Alan Smart）創作影片的曝光表（英語：exposure sheets）[32]。影片的大部分角色設定組員都來自連續劇[33]。

2012年，派拉蒙為即將上映的影片舉行推介會時，影片首次以「CGI類動畫」「3D長片」的身份展出[34]。奧蘭多尼克國際度假村（英語：Nickelodeon Suites Resort Orlando）於2013年初上映3D短片《海綿寶寶4D：營救大果凍（英語：SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D: The Great Jelly Rescue）》後，高管們曾談過要將3D體視學永遠流傳下去[35]。導演提比在Twitter上被問到電影將會採用什麼動畫技術時，回答道：「我不想透露任何事，但（它）大部分是2D[36]。」

2014年3月，派拉蒙在美國全國影院業主協會（英語：National Association of Theatre Owners）電影展上放映影片的真人動畫片段。新聞網站報道影片採用了計算機生成動畫（CGI）[37]，其中互聯網電影資料庫的編輯評論道：「派拉蒙宣佈將有一部新的《海綿寶寶》電影時，就有了這（像《海綿寶寶》的其他化身一樣）會是一部動畫片。今晚展出的小片段反而暗示它看上去類似於《花鼠明星俱樂部》、《反斗熊心》和《藍精靈》等作品的CGI、真人動畫雜交品[38]。」在CraveOnline（英語：ComingSoon.net）發佈的一篇文章中，作者愛德華·道格拉斯（Edward Douglas）寫道：「CGI動畫看起來很怪異」[39]。菲利普·道曼解釋稱，CGI元素為了讓角色「活靈活現，獲得另一種提升」[40]。

攝製[編輯]

影片的真人實拍（英語：Live action）鏡頭由邁克·米歇爾（英語：Mike Mitchell (director)）執導[41]。攝製於2013年9月30日啟動，持續到2013年11月5日，在喬治亞州薩凡納和泰比島（英語：Tybee Island）等多個地點取景[42][43][44]。7月11日，薩凡納電影服務辦公室（The Savannah Film Office）率先宣佈影片將會在薩凡納拍攝真人實拍鏡頭40天[28]。辦公室地方專員威爾·哈馬爾格倫（Will Hammargren）表示影片將會給市的經濟貢獻800萬美元，包括至少5600次酒店夜宿[45][46]。

影片的真人實拍鏡頭在喬治亞州薩凡納多地取景，包括市區（上）和泰比島（英語：Tybee Island, Georgia）碼頭（下）。

2013年9月30日，因傑伊·雪夫（Jay Self）被解僱，影片的製作啟動被中斷[47][48]。根據薩凡納休閒服務部門主管喬·希魯斯（Joe Shearouse）的備忘錄，雪夫因「沒能妥善規範和管理影片的安排」而被解僱[47][49]。雪夫被指控對電影攝製一無所知，還被當地居民投訴擾民[47][49][50][51]。而另一篇報道則指雪夫被解僱的原因，是派拉蒙和薩凡納電影辦公室就當地企業與派拉蒙協商拍攝期間可能有的商業損失存在分歧[52]。

影片搭景（英語：Filming location）準備期間，劇組沿着布勞頓街（Broughton Street）的店面噴漆，仿造名叫「鹽淺灘」（Salty Shoals）的「海灘社群」[45][53][54][55]。雪夫表示，「他們試着把它包裝成海邊的樣子。」[54]位於布勞頓街，隸屬於薩凡納藝術設計學院的珍圖書館與信託劇院（Jen Library and Trustees Theater）被改造成海事博物館[53]。早在2013年8月，派拉蒙接觸學院，商討將圖書館用作取景地[56]。學院同意後，製片方的藝術部開始改造被選作去景點的大樓。攝製期間，大樓繼續向學生開放，而信託會冠名的「SCAD」仍然保持不變[56]。其他機構，例如花店（英語：Floristry）、便利商店和咖啡店分別改成衝浪、牛乳糖和浮標店[57]。雪夫表示：「這種改變是臨時的，所有建築在拍攝完成後會恢復成原本的顏色[54][58]。」

10月9日，市區攝製啟動，布萊頓街蒙哥馬利街（Montgomery Street）和哈伯斯罕街（Habersham Street）部分路段關閉到10月18日[53][59][60]。早在10月9日，當地居民便收到劇組散發的詳述拍攝可能會對他們造成的不便的黃色傳單[61]。飾演海盜的演員安東尼奧·班達拉斯在一艘帶輪子的海盜船上拍攝追車戲[53][61][62]。有一次，一位劇組成員意外造成市中心一座大樓受損，將一名女士送到了坎德勒醫院（Candler Hospital）[63][64]。電影服務辦公室的威廉·哈馬格倫（William Hammargren）表示派拉蒙獲允許在某些封閉地段使用機動車，但許可證並不延伸到行車道[63]。

10月18日，市中心拍攝結束。當天還舉行了抽獎活動，市長埃德娜·傑克遜（Edward Jackson）宣佈了獲獎者[65]。獎品包括海綿寶寶主題派對、自行車、馬歇爾度假屋獨家、薩凡納小餐館晚餐、禮品券和一台60吋電視[65]。市中心的拍攝過後，取景地企業對製作團隊的評價褒貶不一[52]。企業主認為，選擇用來拍戲的10月份是「布萊頓商人的大日子」[52]。有些商人建議將2月、7月或8月定為拍攝的首選時間[52]。

泰比島的拍攝於10月21日啟動[65][66]。電影監製獲准在泰比島市政廳舉辦完會議後拍戲，而企業和居民對拍戲可能造成的影響表示擔憂，同時還擔心威脅海龜的安全[67][68]。樂隊槍與玫瑰樂手史萊許在泰比島的拍攝現場被人看到，儘管他在成片中沒有出場[69]。後來劇組帶上騎自行車的臨時演員，移師斯特蘭德大街（Strand Avenue）拍攝追車戲[69]。

2015年2月，派拉蒙全球發行營銷總裁梅根·科里森（Megan Collison）在訪談中談到電影不俗的票房，指出第三部電影的可能性是「很好的賭注」[70]。在另一個採訪中，派拉蒙副主席羅伯·摩爾（Rob Moore）表示「希望拍另一部電影不用花十年」[71]。2015年4月30日，維亞康姆在Twitter上宣佈第三部《海綿寶寶》電影正在開發中[72]。2015年8月3日，文森特·沃勒在Twitter上證實續集進入前期製作，同時保羅·提比也確認回歸擔任導演，並和凱爾·麥卡洛克（英語：Kyle McCulloch）編劇[73]。2015年11月，據宣佈影片定檔2019年2月8日[74]，但檔期之後推遲到2019年3月[75]。2015年11月11日，沃勒在Twitter證實影片大部分採用傳統上的計算機生成動畫加真人實拍鏡頭[76]。編劇喬納森·阿爾貝和格倫·伯傑（英語：Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger）2016年1月在採訪中表示正創作第三部《海綿寶寶》電影[77]。2016年4月，分鏡畫家鮑勃·坎普（英語：Bob Camp）表示漫畫家約翰·克里法拉西（英語：John Kricfalusi）正在開發一部提前於本片上映的新《萊恩與史丁比秀（英語：The Ren & Stimpy Show）》動畫[78]，然而克里法拉西在Twitter上否認在製作動畫[79]。2017年3月在電影展上，據宣佈影片推遲到2019年8月2日上映。2017年3月28日，雅虎電影在它的Twitter上報道稱影片將成為《海綿寶寶》的終篇[80]，現任節目製作人沃勒暗示這不過是一部佔位作品[81]。之後改於2021年上映。
