紫崖燕（學名：Progne subis）為雀形目燕科下的一個鳥種, 分佈於分佈於北美洲東部 [2]。
紫崖燕體重約53.79克，翼長約14.72厘米，喙寬度約5.9毫米，喙厚度約4.8毫米，嘴峰長約16.8毫米，跗蹠長約15毫米，尾長約72.4毫米。
紫崖燕是留鳥，棲息在森林的樹冠層，它們是食肉動物，主要以昆蟲、蜘蛛等陸生無脊椎動物為食。[3]
