TYC 8998-760-1是一個年輕的恆星，於1700 萬年前誕生，位於蒼蠅座，距離地球約310光年，質量是太陽的1.00±0.02倍。
它的年齡約為1700萬歲，處於G2V光譜型主序星的年齡下限。TYC 8998-760-1有兩個系外行星，是與太陽系相近的行星系統中，最接近太陽系的。相比之下，太陽的年齡是450,000 萬年，約為TYC 8998-760-1的250倍。所有G2V光譜型主序星的估計壽命約有100 億年。
行星系統[編輯]
TYC 8998-760-1有兩個巨大的系外行星繞恆星運行。由ESO的甚大望遠鏡使用其光譜-高對比度系外行星研究儀器拍攝了它們。這是第一次直接拍攝到多個行星圍繞類似恆星太陽運行的圖像。[1][6]
TYC 8998-760-1 b是一個行星，質量為木星的14倍，半徑為3 RJ。它以162 AU（2.42×1010 km；1.51×1010 mi）的距離公轉，略遠於太陽與海王星距離的5倍。[5][7]
TYC 8998-760-1 c是一個行星，質量為6 MJ，並以320 AU（4.8×1010 km；3.0×1010 mi）的距離公轉，略遠於太陽與海王星距離的11倍。[5]
