塞勒姆的血统
塞勒姆的血统（英语：Bloodlines of Salem）是一个位于美国盐湖城的家族史团体，缩写为BLoS。它所宣扬的宗旨是提供一个“参访者分享对于1692年塞勒姆审巫案，其参与者及他们的家人的想法和资讯的地方。许多参访者已经研究并证明出他们的家系与一位或更多的塞勒姆审巫案关系人有关。这些审判在超过三个世纪前展开，且一直在历史、法律和宗教的研究领域中显著突出。然而，无论他们是一位业余研究者、职业研究者或‘塞勒姆学家’，他们对审巫案的研究都不会受限于他们自己的血统。”[1][2][3][4]

该团体于2007年在盐湖城成立。盐湖城有着世界级的家谱图书馆，鼓励并提供资料给塞勒姆审巫案关系人的后代与亲属，或怀疑自己是后代亲属的人，又或者是单纯着迷于这场审巫案的人们。[1][5][6][7][8] 截至2013年10月，现任的BLoS负责人是史蒂芬·黑尔（Steven Hale）。
活动[编辑]
该团体的研究人员调查并发表了部分名人身为塞勒姆审巫案关系人的后代与亲属的证据。在2007年的调查中揭露了曾参与《哈利波特》电影系列演出的演员汤姆·费尔顿和当时的牺牲者之一约翰·普罗克特有着亲属关系[9]。2008年的调查则发现，美国总统乔治·沃克·布希是多达217名关系人的亲属，其中包括了他的10世祖玛丽·帕克。[10]
