故事[编辑]

故事背景发生在印第安纳州印第安纳波利斯，讲述一所公立高中男学生泰勒·布兰控告一所贵族学校里的明星篮球队员凯文·拉克洛与艾瑞克·泰纳在一场派对上，对他下药并侵犯他后，还将当时的照片放到社群网站上。而这起事件引起全美轩然大波，但案情却像滚雪球般，情况日趋复杂，进而引爆了性取向及社经地位差距的争议。[6][7]

2015年5月7日，ABC宣布续订第2季，[8]而故事将涉及青少年的性取向议题。[9]7月16日，主创约翰·里德利与执行制作迈克尔·麦当劳透露第2季故事背景将设定于中西部，并讲述涉及性向与学校制度差距之间的犯罪事件，[10]内容将探讨身理、性与社会边缘的种族与信仰议题。[11]
