2016年布基纳法索政变发生在2016年10月8日，为意图推翻布基纳法索政府的一场未遂政变。至少30名总统安全团（英语：Regiment of Presidential Security）前成员计划在三个位置发动袭击，分别是：总统官邸、一个军营、以及首都瓦加杜古一个监狱^[1]。政变造成2人死亡，超过10人被指与政变有联系而被捕^[2]^[3]。未遂政变由前总统安全成员古嘉栋（英语：Gaston Coulibaly）领导^[4]。
