加斯佩（法語：Gaspé）是加拿大魁北克東部加斯佩西-馬德萊娜群島區加斯佩半島頂端的一座城市。加斯佩位於魁北克市東北部約650公里（400英里），以及里穆斯基以東350公里（220英里）。截至2016年加拿大人口普查，該市總人口為14,568人。

加斯佩十字架[編輯]

1934年，加拿大政府決定在加斯佩建立一個花崗岩質地的大十字架，以紀念雅克·卡蒂埃於1534年7月24日抵達加斯佩400周年。十字架高達32英尺（9.8公尺）。建造十字架的材料為來自奧古斯都·杜馬斯採石場（英語：Augustus Dumas）的灰色花崗岩，而採石場則來自聖羅倫斯河沿岸的波特諾夫縣轄下的皮埃爾河市鎮。加斯佩十字架重達42噸，建築用的原材料通過加拿大國家鐵路的兩節貨運列車從皮埃爾河鎮運到加斯佩，最後抵達城鎮碼頭。建築工人使用通過馬匹驅動的滑輪裝置來安裝十字架[11]。目前為止，加斯佩十字架是加拿大最大的花崗岩單體十字架。
位於十字架底端的紀念牌匾於2009年8月23日落成，以紀念來自皮埃爾河鎮的工匠，他們成功提取並切割了花崗岩塊。加斯佩十字架的複製品由皮埃爾河鎮的工匠製作，豎立在皮埃爾河鎮的中心，而複製品的高度是原品的一半。
