尼古拉斯·伯恩哈德·里昂·佩夫斯納爵士 CBE FBA（Sir Nikolaus Bernhard Leon Pevsner，1902年1月30日—1983年8月18日）是一名德裔英國藝術、建築史學家，以《英格蘭建築》（The Buildings of England）一書出名。
生平[編輯]
他出生於薩克森王國萊比錫的一個俄裔猶太商人家庭，曾就讀於萊比錫的聖托馬斯學校，後來入讀慕尼黑大學、柏林洪堡大學和法蘭克福歌德大學，最後於1924年在萊比錫大學獲得博士學位，博士論文研究的是萊比錫的巴洛克建築[1]。
1929–33年間，他在哥廷根大學教授英格蘭藝術與建築。希特勒上台之後，他起初對其經濟文化政策表示支持[2][3]，但最終還是在1933年迫於當局對猶太人的迫害而離開大學。[4]
他前往了英格蘭，住在漢普斯特德，鄰居是詩人傑弗里·格里森[5][6][7]。他的朋友們為他在伯明罕大學謀得了一份18個月的研究工作[8]。
1940年，他被關押入利物浦的俘虜收容所。三個月後在英國情報部長弗蘭克·畢克的干預下獲釋[9]。1946年他自然歸化為英國公民。
自1936年以來他就一直在為《建築評論》供稿，1943年至1945年間為《建築評論》的編輯。他在1942年成為伯貝克學院的兼職講師，後來升為教授，1969年才退休。此外在1949年至1955年間擔任劍橋大學教授、1968年又成為牛津大學教授。
他是維多利亞協會創始成員，1965年獲選英國科學院院士，1967年獲皇家英國建築師協會金獎[10]。1975年，他獲得了赫瑞瓦特大學的榮譽博士學位[11]。 1983年，他在漢普斯特德Wildwood Terrace的家中去世[12][13]，道別儀式在基督君王教堂舉行。他的遺體葬在威爾特郡的小村Clyffe Pypard。
